15th October 2021 – Next US Tax Filing Deadline Reminder



Dear TAH/USTAX4EXPATS Clients/US tax return filers,

We hope you all managed to enjoy the summer, even if it has been a bit of an unusual one with travel restrictions, PCR test for international holidays or good family time with staycations and life is slowly heading back to normal mode. Amidst all of these do not forget to file your US 1040 Federal tax return in time.


In this article, we want to remind you of the next tax return filing deadline which is 15th October 2021 for all US 1040 tax return filers who have filed extension is April or June 2021 with completion of Form 4868. If you are still struggling to gather all the information required to file the 1040/1040NR tax return by 15th October and if you are residing outside of the United States request your US tax team preparer to file an additional extension until 15th Dec 2021.

When is the next FBAR (Foreign Bank Account Reporting) filing deadline date?

The FBAR is an annual report, due April 15 following the calendar year reported.
